And we're off like a herd of turtles. So a vacation wouldn't be a vacation unless we had some unexpected occurrences, right? The first was an unexpected upgrade on the rental car, unfortunately, in AZ if you rent a car the spouse is not allowed to drive it unless they pay extra. Alas, I will be the chauffeur for the excursion.
Second unexpected bonus was the upgrade at the hotel, or rather the resort. Holiday Inn Express overbooked and, lucky for us, they moved us to the Arizona Grande Resort and Spa. Cool.
